This is a fantastic idea. Small business who adopt modern AJAX database web technology can really level the playing field when it comes to competing with larger companies. They can ecommerce web sites, they can have customer self service to track orders, they can offer database driven information, they can schedule appointments 24X7, they can let customers look at what they ordered in the past. The list is pretty huge.
